Introduced in 1950, the streamlined Power-Ho Deluxe Model 12BB had a new 2 1/2 hp engine rating, compared to a 1 1/2 hp rating for the 1949 model. It came equipped with variable speed sheave, front kick stand, chain guards, remote control stop switch, and new 5-12 tires on 4 inch rims, according to Garden Tractors Vol. 2, compiled by Alan C.
