Theft Alert - Large Michelin Tire Man Advertising Figure & 1897 Western Electric Fiddle Back Wall Phone
Stolen from a private collection on the night of November 14, 2001 in Burlington, WV. The rare Michelin Man advertising figure is approximately 36" tall with a black body made of "tires" and a silver sash with the words, "MICHELIN TIRES" incised. The figure is standing on a wood base. The 1897 Western Electric hand crank wall phone is an unusual fiddle back style. Both of these items are in excellent condition.
